About this work

The rounded rectangular, bulging bowl, slightly raised on the sides, rests on four curved feet ending in hooves. The wide, flat upper rim is decorated with a ribbed band. At the corners of the upper rim are small knobs on threads, which are secured on the underside with nuts. A screw and nut are attached to the bottom to secure a copper inner bowl, which is now missing.
