About this work
Jug (bearded man jug) of stoneware on a high foot with a globular body and narrow neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck. Covered with a brown engobe. On the belly in relief a printed and applied medallion with a crowned coat of arms bearing the mark 'S.V.'. On the neck, continuing onto the shoulder, a bearded man. Frechen.
