Fragment of a pipe bowl with Mercury sitting on a chest with the letters PS (Pieter Scholenaar) between a pipe basket and a pipe barrel, and in the background two ships; seated Neptune with trident, fish and shells, and in the background a ship; standing lion with sword and bundle of arrows. From the excavations at Hofstede Arentsburg 1827-1831 under the supervision of Professor Reuvens.
