About this work
The object, composed of many parts, consists of an openwork base in which scrollwork motifs can be recognized and four cherubs originating from the ornamentation, who support the openwork, partly scrollwork, crown. The object has been extensively restored. The figure of Mary on the globe with the snake, placed in the center, is a later addition.
