About this work
The foot, stem, and drip pan are cast in one piece. The candle pin is riveted to the bottom of the drip pan in two places. The profiled pin has a horizontal hole at the bottom, serving to turn the pin on or off. The profiled conical foot transitions into a stem consisting of a bulb, a knop, and a small baluster, and then into a profiled drip pan with a rib on the inner side of the projecting rim. All parts are decorated with grooved rings. The foot and stem are hollow inside. The candle pin is soldered, and the bottom of the drip pan has been riveted again (with red copper).
