About this work

The object is cast in one piece. The stem is hollow up to the upper knot. The profiled conical foot transitions into a stem with two knots, which is hexagonal at the bottom and round at the top, and then into the round, recessed drip pan. The foot and drip pan are decorated with perforation motifs. At the bottom on the inside are three ridges for attaching the supports. These are missing, as is the candle pin. The drip pan is very damaged. The holes in the rim of the foot were added later.
