Table clock of wood; square case on flattened ball feet, between two Tuscan half-columns

Wooden table clock. The movement is housed in a small square case on flattened ball feet, between two Tuscan half-columns. The spandrels are filled with openwork vine motifs. The case is crowned with a broken quarter-round pediment, with a vase on a pedestal in the middle. On the two parts of the pediment rest two children, with their backs to each other. The movement is marked on the back: "Pieter Visbach Fecit Hagae". According to tradition, the clock would have belonged to Michiel Adriaenszoon de Ruyter.
