About this work

Fragment of silk fabric with a pattern of broad blue bands on which a thick wavy trunk with splits is pierced by a thin, wavy trunk. The thick trunk has large fruits (pineapple (?) and the thin trunk has a leaf rosette. The white bands have a pattern of a band containing a pattern of diamonds and rosettes. The fragment consists of three sewn-together pieces.
