About this work

Butter crock of polychrome painted faience, with a lid and standing on a plate. The crock is shaped like a blue bunch of grapes and is attached to the plate. The stem of the bunch forms the handle. Flowers and leaves are attached to the plate around the bunch. The plate has a scalloped rim. The butter crock is marked.
