About this work

Double collar of fine linen. The under-collar is larger and polygonal; the upper collar has pleats at the neck and is semi-circular at the back. Both collars are edged all around with a wide strip of bobbin lace (not along the split upper collar). The fastening is sewn with two ties to the front and back of the under-collar, through which a double cord with round flat binding and two eyelets is attached.
