About this work

Long rectangular cloth or strip of fine linen, double folded and sewn. The cloth is marked in a corner with the number 3 or 5, executed in cross-stitch with red thread. Intended as a swaddling band for a swaddled child (?). See also: BK-NM-5448-42-a.
