About this work
Bugel in B. Three Périnet valves, numbered 1, 2, and 3, which lower the fundamental tone by respectively 1, 1/2, and 1 and 1/2 tones. With a holder for a music stand and a support hook for the pinky of the right hand. On the cup, an oval fire stamp: 'E. P. van Osch / Brevete / Maastricht'. Near the cup rim, stamped: '4.R.I.1868' (4th Regiment Infantry 1868). The instrument was put into use in 1868 by the 4th Regiment Infantry of the Dutch army.
