About this work

A meat fork of tinned iron. The handle is decorated with a stippled pattern of small circles with a dot in the center, surrounded by a band of dots and a band of lines. Two broadened sections are incorporated into the handle, one of which is openwork, the other decorated with a floral motif. A copper plate is also attached to the handle, bearing the year 1762 and the letters AVD.
