Whip with handle of dark lacquered wood, with a knob of chased silver and a cord of white leather with ornaments of braided leather

Whip with handle of dark lacquered wood, to which a spherical knob of silver with two chased floral ornaments is attached, between which is an engraved crowned coat of arms of a broad-brimmed hat and two crossed spades, and below engraved: 'BODEGRAAVE DEN 1 MEY 1780'. On top of the knob two rows of overlapping shells. Along the handle three silver bands with shells on both sides. At the silver, engraved tip a cord of white leather with leather ornaments in copper-coloured loops and a purple, green and purple plaited band. At the end a twisted cord of white, red and green.
