About this work
Chimney of oak wood, decorated with ebony. The chimney rests on consoles and Tuscan half-columns of marble, placed against pilasters. The mantel has the shape of a cornice with architrave, frieze and crown molding. Belonging to a bedstead (inv. no. BK-NM-8679-a). From a house on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam.
