About this work

Door hinge of tinned iron decorated with engravings. The furniture begins from the hinge as follows: a straight start; a nodus with two jester heads looking outwards; a narrow baluster-shaped rod from which several leaf motifs emerge towards the end, curling into volutes. In the middle of these, two jester heads look at each other. The whole ends in a pointed leaf with two curling tendrils on either side.
