About this work

An iron fire striker. Resting on four legs is a square basin, consisting of a horizontal bottom plate, four iron walls with damascene work in the Regency style, and a top plate with a one-sided decoration, provided with two circular and one rectangular opening and a spring; the rectangular opening can be closed by a plate provided with a vertical locking piece. In one of the walls is an opening for the drawer.
