About this work
Fitting for a door plate of tinned iron, with openwork ornaments. Abstracted vines and leaves woven through bracket-shaped volutes. The top is crowned with a French lily. Directly below a kind of French lily. At the bottom an inverted French lily shape can be recognized with a square opening in the middle for a door pin. Also on the top corners are two square openings.
