About this work
Case or sheath of wood, covered with brown leather, on which pressed and carved arabesques, a swan, a vase and a mask are applied. Inside white goatskin leather. On the underside coloured paper; red arabesques on a white ground. The case, judging by its shape, was probably used to store a spoon and knife.
