About this work
The figure consists of the following cast, chased, and punched parts: the angel, the wing piece, the riveted hands, the crown of thorns. The angel stands on a pentagonal base, marked with a V at the front. A section is cut out at the back to accommodate the eye, to which the wing piece is attached with a pin.
