Stemmed glass with a deep-set foot. The high stem, adorned with seven rows of thorn-like knobs, is blown in one piece with the curved bowl. The transition from stem to bowl is marked by a ribbed wire. The bowl is engraved with the coat of arms of Stadtholder Prince William III, surrounded by armorial trophies. Above it is the word 'Orangen', below the year 'Anno 1657' and a crowned young swan. Around the rim are the coats of arms of 'Brabant, Limburgh, Gelderland, Lutsenburg, Zeland, Artois, Hénegou, Hollant, Namuier, Zutphen, Antwerpen, Elanderlant, Friesland, Overijssel, Utrecht, Mechelen and Groningen'. On the stem is the year 1657 again and the letter 'F'.
