About this work

Flat foot with a turned-over rim, faceted on the underside with ovals alternating with a stripe. Double cuff under a faceted, baluster-shaped stem. Many-sided faceted, funnel-shaped, vaulted bowl at the bottom. In the bottom of the bowl, a gilded medallion with lozenges surrounded by a border of palmettes. On the bowl, between a golden leaf vine and a border in silver, red, brown and green, a powder flask with a trophy of arms on one side and a basket of flowers on the other. The medallion in the bottom is repeated in the lid. Gasket edges approx. 1 cm below the rim of the bowl.
