About this work

Tin model for a casting mold of a book clasp. The representation shows the priest Simeon with the Christ Child, to the left Joseph and Mary, and to the right the prophetess Anna. The whole is enclosed in a Rococo ornament formed by three large inward-facing C-scrolls and between them two small outward-facing C-scrolls. The top is straight.
