About this work

Porcelain vase, painted in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, and black over the glaze. The vase is black-spotted with floral scrolls and in reserve differently shaped cartouches; on the body two elongated cartouches with figures in front of and inside a pavilion, between them each time two small cartouches with birds on a branch and a lotus flower; on the shoulder scrollwork with flowers alternating with a bird on a branch in a lobed cartouche; above this a band with floral branches on black spots with two cartouches in reserve with figures in front of and inside a pavilion. Famille verte.
