Facade of the Second Muiderpoort in Amsterdam, on the side facing outside the city. Title in Dutch and French above. Numbered II in the upper right. Part of a series of six prints of the Second Muiderpoort, made after the design drawings of city architect Cornelis Rauws. This city gate was built in 1770 after the First Muiderpoort subsided in 1769. Subject category within the Atlas Amsterdam: Gates, composite sheets, J. Second Muiderpoort.
