View of the First Sint-Antonies Gate in Amsterdam, in the situation around 1544. This fifteenth-century building came within the city (on the Nieuwmarkt) after the city expansions at the end of the sixteenth century and thus lost its function as a city gate. In 1617-1618 it was converted into a weigh house. Top right numbered: p. 186. Subject category within the Atlas Amsterdam: Gates, composite sheets, C. St. Antonies Gate.
