About this work

Allegorical vignette with a cartouche, centrally depicting a woman with a dagger dressed in a stola, and a woman with a bone (?) dressed in loose garments. In the background, a person on a cloud in a halo. On either side of the cartouche, attributes that may be associated with the personifications of Justice (sword through crown) and Prudence, Truth, or Self-knowledge (anthropomorphic mirror).
