About this work

Object consists of a bifolium, described only on the first two pages. The members of the City Drawing Academy request the directors to ask the burgomaster of the city of Amsterdam for permission to use the collection in the art room of the Amsterdam town hall. This collection was bequeathed to the city in 1709 by Michiel Hinloopen and consisted mainly of prints, which the members of the academy wished to use for study.
