About this work

Copper coin. Obverse: double-headed crowned eagle with spread wings, bearing on its breast a shield of arms encircled by a knightly order, holding in its talons a scepter and orb surmounted by a cross. Crown above the eagle. Date at the bottom. Reverse: within two tied branches under a crown, denomination in two lines. Below the letters E M [=Ekaterinenburg]. Smooth edge.
