Obverse: double-headed crowned eagle with wings displayed, bearing small shields on its wings and a large shield adorned with a chivalric order on its breast, holding a scepter and a crowned orb in its claws. Above the eagle a crown with ribbon. Denomination in legend at bottom. Reverse: denomination in two lines between two tied branches. Below, in Cyrillic, the letters S, P, and B [=St. Petersburg]. Date in legend at top. Notched edge.
