About this work
Bronzed copper coin, intended as a trial. Obverse: by two standing lions on a scroll, in which inscription, with arrow, to which flag, in the claw, held coat of arms of the EIC, above which crest. Year at bottom. Reverse: scales, between which in Arabic letters inscription: Adil and below year: 1219 [=1804]. Smooth edge. Struck in England.
