About this work

Silver coin. Obverse: eagle standing on branches, looking to the right. Reverse: liberty cap surrounded by rays. In inscription at the bottom: value indication: 8 R and year. Reeded edge. On obverse and reverse, two Chinese characters are stamped, indicating the name of a Chinese trading house, as a guarantee of authenticity.
