About this work

Silver coin. Obverse: standing woman with a spear in her right hand, upon which a liberty cap, and her left hand resting on an oval shield, with inscription: Libertad in three lines. Reverse: between two tied branches a coat of arms, upon which a wreath. In the legend value indication: 8 R and date at bottom. Floral border. On the obverse a punch with a crown, below which indication: F. 7o. [=Spanish King Ferdinand VII].
