About this work
Gilded silver medal with eyelet and ring from the Vereeniging van Nederlandsche Scherpschutters, won by the detachments of the 1st and 2nd battalion regiment Schutterij te Amsterdam, 1890. Shooting competition on 25 August 1890 in Hoorn. Obverse: the Dutch coat of arms in Renaissance style. Inscription: VEREENIGING VAN NEDERLANDSCHE SCHERPSCHUTTERS. Reverse: ALGEMENE SCHIETWEDSTRIJD HOORN. Engraved in the field: 18-90 / 1e PRIJS.
