About this work
Bronze medal with ring and eyelet from the Stedelijke Schietwedstrijd Amsterdam, won by the Schietschool of the Schutterij Amsterdam. Competition held in the winter 1891-1892. Obverse: the coat of arms of Amsterdam, with crown and supporters (lions). In the lower part the name of the 'engraver' J.D. Posthumus. Reverse: 2e PRIJS / 1892. Inscription: STEDELIJKE SCHIETWEDSTRIJD * AMSTERDAM *.
