Metal wearing medal with knob and ring. Obverse: crowned coat of arms of Amsterdam with legend: VOLUNTEER CITIZEN GUARD 1918. Reverse: standing citizen, slightly turned to the right, with rifle at the foot and cartridge belt around the waist. Legend: FOR THE DEFENSE OF PUBLIC LIBERTY. Maker: unknown.
