Seven figures: a maid with a ram's horn, a girl giving alms to a beggar woman, a vendor with newspapers or pamphlets, a man with an advertisement board announcing a 'grand concert', a second man with an advertisement board stating 'come see' and a man next to a table with wares. Part of a series of 16 sheets with drawings of Amsterdam folk types. Subject headings within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Male profession and trade: Peddlers, street vendors, street sharpeners, beggars, street entertainers, etc.
