Procession at the inauguration of the University of Leiden, 8 February 1575. The procession depicted in four rows stacked above one another. Bottom left the ship with Apollo, Neptune and the nine Muses. Further soldiers, musicians, allegorical figures representing the sciences, dignitaries, town criers and professors.
