Theatrical performance in the Amsterdamse Schouwburg on the Keizersgracht with the wing scenery The Wainscoted Room and a scene from: The Swearer. The scenery printed from a separate plate within a passe-partout with the hall, side boxes, orchestra pit, and the stage façade with columns, garlands, and chandeliers. The title and a four-line verse also printed from a separate plate. Part of a series of 12 theatrical scenery prints. Subject categories within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Fine Arts, Theatre, Theatre on the Keizersgracht (1637–1772).
