About this work
Design for the Atlas Book by Karel Frederik Bombled. Narrative images of a father who is away from home for a long time. He first sits in the tavern, then drunk at a table, then puts on his jacket. At the bottom we see his sad wife and children. Eventually the children are happy when their father comes home again. At the bottom a hunting scene.
