About this work

Deceiver with sheet music and other printed matter. In the middle lies a small sheet with an alphabet and the beginning of the Lord's Prayer on a sheet with Psalm 38 with musical notation, verse 18 in the rhyming of Petrus Dathenus. Top right the title page from a Gospel book, dated 1763. Further, besides Christian texts, a sheet about the month of May from an almanac, a sheet from the Utrechtse Courant from 1747, a page from a poem about the siege of Leiden, a sheet about French tyranny and a sheet with various typefaces. Subject headings within the Atlas of Morals and Customs: Fine Arts, Deceivers.
