About this work

Architectural representation of the Van der Capellen family cemetery in the Gorsselse Veld near Zutphen, built in 1785 in honor of Joan Derk van der Capellen tot den Pol, who died in 1784. The structure was blown up in August 1788 by Orangists. Subject headings within the Atlas *Zeden en Gewoonten*: Customs and Manners in a Narrower Sense, Man's Beginning, Middle, and End, Monuments.
