About this work
The misleaders: the ambassador of the Labberlotten presents himself at the window of the inn 't Bokki in the Haarlemmerhout (a prank played by Jacob Campo Weyerman and associates). A group of people looks at the rear of a man painted to resemble a face, sticking out of the inn's window. On either side, two trumpeters with blackened faces. In front of the inn, a man and woman dressed in black sit with Bibles in their hands.
