Demonstration of the use of hose fire engines by pumping water and spraying it over the turret of the Stock Exchange (ca. 1670-1680). In the caption the explanation of the letters A-D in Dutch. Above the plate a second plate with text is printed. Plate 23 in the reprint of the Fire Engine Book by Jan van der Heyden from 1735.
