Demonstration of the use of hose fire engines by pumping water from a well and spraying it over the tower of the Cathedral of Our Lady in Antwerp (ca. 1670-1680). In the foreground extinguishing a fire in a house on the square. In a cartouche the explanation of the letters A-D in Dutch. Above the plate a second plate with text is printed.
