The Seven Works of Mercy: Giving drink to the thirsty. A man and a woman fill the drinking vessels of thirsty beggars with jugs, some of whom are on crutches standing on the steps of their house. Christ stands among the thirsty. In the background an old beggar led by a boy. Part of a series of seven drawings after the paintings with depictions of the Seven Works of Mercy in the Rijksmuseum collection.
