View of the garden and the rear facade of the Corvershof on the Nieuwe Herengracht in Amsterdam, viewed from the Nieuwe Keizersgracht. An orchard on both sides of the central path. Two boats in the canal. Part of a series of prints of the Corvershof, put into use in 1723, intended for older married couples of the Dutch Reformed (later Remonstrant) faith. Subject headings within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Poverty and Charity.
