About this work

Men hunt, partly on foot and partly on horseback, foxes with spears. They are helped by several dogs. In the background rabbits are hunted with crossbows. In the back right two shepherds with their flock. Below the depiction a four-line verse in Latin. Subject categories within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Trade, Industry and Traffic, Hunting.
