Figures on the shore at Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. A boy watches a man catch fish with a scoop net. Further away, a woman is doing laundry and has placed her child in the wash tub behind her. In the grass on the shore lie ducks, a dog, and a playing child. In the distance, pedestrians on foot and on horseback pass by. On the water, rowing and sailing ships sail. Numbered bottom right: 2.
