In a vast hilly landscape, villagers carry out activities associated with the months of September, October, and November: in the foreground, livestock is being slaughtered; in the background, harvesting and woodcutting. Below the image, the title with two lines in Latin on either side. Print from a series of four prints with depictions of the four seasons, two after Hans Bol and two after Pieter Bruegel I.
